About Us

For more than 30 years, Ghirardo CPA has played an integral role in the lives of thousands of North Bay individuals and businesses. In 1990, Novato natives Jerry and Steve Ghirardo bought the CPA practice established by their father, Edward T. Ghirardo.

Today we are one of the premier accounting, audit, tax and consulting firms in Marin County.

One of the fundamental reasons for our success is the strength of our team. Our talented and multi-disciplinary team of professionals continues to grow and in January 2008 Greta Hoversten was promoted to Partner. We are currently home to 42 full- and part-time employees which includes 16 CPAs and nine members with advanced degrees, including MBAs and master’s degrees.

Additionally, the firm has a number of international team members fluent in several foreign languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Russian, German and Italian.
