Novato, CA – February 19, 2008: Ghirardo CPA, a professional services firm with offices in Novato and Petaluma is pleased to announce that Greta Hoversten, has been promoted from Senior Manager to Partner.

Greta Hoversten, CPA came to Ghirardo CPA in 2001 as a Tax Manager, and has over 17 years accounting and tax experience. Greta has vast expertise working with closely held companies, and coordinating tax affairs of owners and their businesses. In addition, she has worked extensively with high net worth individuals addressing their unique tax compliance, tax planning, and financial consulting needs. Greta has BS Degrees in both Biology and Political Science and an MBA from University of CA, Irvine. She also has earned a Masters Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University.

Greta grew up in Lucas Valley, leaving to attend college in Southern California. Upon graduating, Greta entered the business arena, eventually meeting and marrying her husband Bill. They returned to Lucas Valley, where their three children attend school in the Dixie School District. Greta has also served as a Board Member of the Dixie Home and School Club.
