GHIRARDO CPA ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF NEW EXECUTIVE AND EXPANDED SERVICE OFFERINGS

Novato, CA – November 10, 2008: Ghirardo CPA today announced the hiring of Paul Breimayer as the Director of the Ghirardo Consulting Group, and the introduction of three new programs specifically designed to help small businesses succeed during these difficult economic times.

According to Jerry Ghirardo, CPA and Managing Director, “Business owners and managers should be prepared for what may be a more severe downturn than we have seen in quite some time. So it is even more important to take stock of your current financial health, anticipate and prepare for the potential impact of the recession on your business and at the same time look for opportunities to increase revenues and profit margins. It’s a market full of both risk and opportunities”.

The first new Ghirardo Consulting Group program is the Business Diagnostic which includes:

An analysis and grading of the liquidity position, profit margins, net income and sales
A comparison of key financial performance metrics against industry averages
Identification of significant business issues and/or trends that should be addressed

The second new program is the Forecasting Model which allows a business owner or manager to:

Project monthly revenues, cost of sales, net income and cash flow 24 months into the future
Evaluate projected business results under multiple scenarios (stress test business results under different market conditions)
Estimate their future liquidity position and with that, borrowing requirements

The third new program is the Profitability Review which will:

Identify opportunities to improve margins
Provide expense management tools and strategies
Identify business development opportunities

Paul Breimayer spent the first ten years of his career as a CPA with the international accounting firm, KPMG, in San Francisco. During that time, he focused on providing audit and advisory services to a wide variety of public and privately held businesses in the Bay Area. His background also includes five years as a Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer and eight years as a Managing Director in charge of sales, marketing and operations of a rapidly growing division of a Fortune 500 company. Paul graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and has a Masters of Accounting from the University of Arizona.
