Adam relocated to the Bay Area from Southern California, where he worked for a respected firm in Beverly Hills. He is experienced in preparing tax returns for partnerships, LLCs, S corporations, C corporations, and individuals, including tax-deferred exchanges, debt-financed distributions and multi-state returns. Adam joined the Ghirardo CPA team in February 2008.

After graduating summa cum laude from UCLA with a B.A. in Business-Economics and an Accounting Minor and Computing Specialization, Adam was hired as an entry-level staff accountant to prepare tax returns and perform audits of Section 8 subsidized apartment complexes. His ability to quickly grasp complex tax concepts and find solutions to intricate problems afforded him the opportunity to work on advanced assignments early in his career. He was promoted to senior accountant after two years and soon earned the position of supervisor over a team ranging from eight to ten staff and senior level accountants. Adam has particular expertise in real estate related tax issues and the pass through entities through which real estate is primarily owned.

Personal interests include investing, golf, volleyball, tennis, snowboarding, music, playing guitar, chess and computers.
