James joined the Ghirardo CPA team in December of 2007 and brings over 25 years of accounting and analyst experience to the firm. He attended San Francisco State University and received a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. James received his CPA license in May of 1996 after two decades of working for large corporations.

Prior to joining Ghirardo CPA James had his own accounting practice in Sebastopol providing accounting services to wineries, including auditing financial statements, inventory management, foreign trade, shelf space and distribution, planning and forecasting, and tax issues. In addition, James has experience in preparation of Federal and state tax returns of businesses and individuals. His industry experience includes wineries, public accounting, manufacturing, and food and beverage distribution.

In his spare time, James enjoys tending to: his horses, his golf swing, and his library of good books to catch up on.
