Michael specializes in tax and accounting consulting for small businesses and individuals. He is a cum laude graduate of San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He also has a Masters Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Michael has been a certified public accountant since 1986. He has lived in Mill Valley and then Novato for the past 44 years.

Michael began his career with a local accounting firm in Oakland where he specialized in small corporations and real estate partnerships. Michael spent several years as a tax manager at Deloitte and Touche and PricewaterhouseCoopers where he specialized in tax compliance, managing a wide variety of business entity types and industries including: farmer cooperatives, family owned farms, local banks, family owned wineries and vineyards, food producers/distributors, retail, mail order and hi-tech startups.

Michael’s family includes three children heavily involved in sports. They participate in college baseball, high school basketball, high school soccer, Novato Babe Ruth, St. Anthony’s CYO basketball and AAU Basketball. Michael enjoys sports photography, coaching a Babe Ruth baseball team and playing softball. Michael’s wife is a registered nurse specializing in rehabilitation.
