In September of 2008 Paul Breimayer joined Ghirardo CPA as the Director of Business Consulting. He spent the first ten years of his career as a CPA with the international accounting firm, KPMG, in San Francisco. During that time, he focused on providing audit and advisory services to a wide variety of public and privately held businesses in the Bay Area. His KPMG career included a two-year assignment to London where he assisted U.S. companies with operations in Great Brittan. His background also includes five years as a Chief Financial Officer with hands on experience running various support functions including treasury, information technology, quality control, human resources and facilities. Paul spent the last eight years as a Managing Director at General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC), in charge of sales, marketing and operations at a rapidly growing mortgage division.

Paul graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and has a Masters of Accounting from the University of Arizona. Paul has lived in Novato for nearly 25 years with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid triathelete and Dipsea runner.
