In January of 2010 Paul Herrerias joined Ghirardo CPA as the Director of Practice Development. In this consultative role, Paul is responsible for facilitating practice growth through mergers and new business development, strategic planning and leadership coaching. Paul is Managing Director and Founder of the Northern California office of Stanton Chase, a global retained executive search firm and will continue in this role.

Paul has 30 years of executive search, leadership consulting and career coaching service to Bay Area organizations, including CPA firms, non-profits, wineries, financial and professional service firms, and tech firms. Paul has consulted with many Bay Area leadership teams and professionals on the subjects of high-performance business teams, cultural change, and leadership development. His consulting style incorporates strategy level analysis and hands-on transformational facilitation with team members.

Previous equity and founder roles in the search industry included Herrerias & Associates; Lear, Herrerias & Lee; and Montgomery Professionals. His previous career affiliations also include employee roles at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he earned his CPA license, and KPMG Peat Marwick where he served as Manager – Retained Executive Search. Paul earned both his Master’s in Organization Development and Bachelor of Science in accounting degrees from the University of San Francisco, and is currently on faculty at Dominican University of California’s School of Business and Leadership.

In his free time, Paul enjoys working on community service, HOA, and political boards, playing with his family, and is hoping to be a more competitive member of Marin’s Tamalpa Running Club in 2010!
