Steve graduated from California State University, Chico in 1971 with a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science and a minor in Mathematics. During his undergraduate years, because of his involvement with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, he decided to enter Golden Gate Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, CA. Upon graduating with a Masters of Divinity degree in 1974, Steve joined another student in beginning and co-leading a new church-plant in San Francisco. In 1984, Steve assisted in the logistics and the relocation of the church and newly begun Christian private school to central Marin. From 1975-2003, Steve served as church administrator and facilities director as well as a science teacher and director of the private school.

Since 2003, Steve has continued serving as part time administrator of Christ Church North Bay, as well as an advisor and consultant in administration and accounting to other churches, private schools, non-profit organizations and small/medium sized businesses in northern California and the state of Washington. In 2004 Steve joined the Ghirardo CPA team part time in the Business Services Department and in the spring of 2007, because of his increased responsibilities, became full time.

Steve has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area most of his life. Since 1985, he and his wife Debbie have lived in and raised their five wonderful children in the north San Rafael community of Lucas Valley.
