Sande has over 15 years of experience in public accounting, tax practice and service to community-based not-for profits. Before joining Ghirardo CPA, Sande was a Tax Manager for two small CPA firms in San Francisco. Her professional expertise and personal experience extend to a broad range of clients including, individuals, businesses (partnerships, LLCs, sole proprietors and corporations), non-profits, estates and trusts.

She graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago as an accounting major and went on to graduate with honors from Golden Gate University with a Masters in Taxation. Sande is a licensed CPA, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of CPAs.

Sande enjoys volunteering her time with several non-profit organizations including the Sausalito Woman’s Club Preservation Society, Friends of Sausalito Dog Parks and as a Committee Head of the Sausalito Art Festival. In her spare time Sande busies herself with the never ending joys associated with maintaining her 100 plus year old cottage in Sausalito.
