Tamara has been with Ghirardo CPA for over five years. She started her public accounting career with Deloitte Haskins & Sells in Sacramento, and after two years relocated to Washington and worked for a large regional firm in Tacoma. Her audit experience was primarily in the Non-Profit and financial institution areas. She has nine years of public accounting experience, three years of financial and cost accounting experience, and three years of marketing experience thrown in just for fun.

Most of her workdays are spent acting as a Real Estate Consultant for Ghirardo CPA and as a Qualified Intermediary for tax-deferred exchanges of investment and business real property through Ghirardo CPA’s affiliate company, Innovative Properties, Inc.

Tamara has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from University of Washington, and received recognition for Outstanding Academic Achievements in Business Administration from Beta Gamma Sigma. She received her CPA certificate in 1991 from the State of Washington and is currently licensed to practice in California. She was recently recognized for her support in editing “Marketing Your Services For People Who Hate to Sell”, written by Rick Crandall, Ph.D. Tamara enjoys watching and playing sports with her husband and three children, as well as hiking and traveling with her family.
