A Petaluma native, Tanya joined the Ghirardo CPA team in January 2008. Upon graduating from Petaluma High School in 2003, she spent two years at Santa Rosa Junior College, studied abroad for a semester in Paris, France, and transferred to Sonoma State University to receive a Bachelors degree in History. Prior to joining the Ghirardo team, Tanya worked in the business office at the Marin County Sheriff’s Department as an Accounting Assistant. She plans to return to Sonoma State and pursue an MBA, and eventually sit for the CPA exam.

In her free time, Tanya enjoys the outdoors, art, music, singing, sports, and eccentrically restoring old furniture. She also enjoys counseling junior high and high school kids in various church youth ministries, and volunteering with SDG Theater Company in Petaluma.
